 | Las Vegas Caesar's Palace Reviews | 1 - 10 of 95 | | This might seem a bit tacky or touristy, but I liked the talking statue show at the fountain inside Caesar's Palace. It was tough to get a shot of these guys, and this was the best I could come up with, but watching these figures move about is something worth seeing, once. This place is MASSIVE. You are almost struck speechless when you first see the hotel and grounds because it's just so huge. I guess this Roman theme echos the excess and fantasy of the ancient Romans, and it pulls it off with a grand flourish. We, in fact, didn't have time to go inside the hotel/casino itself, but walked around the perimeter of the property, plus we went into the Forum Shops, which is basically, a gigantic shopping mall, complete with beautiful Italian architecture and gorgeous fountains. Like the other theme hotels, the shop fronts are meant to make you feel you are on a street, this time in Rome. This is an extremely busy area, and the crowds were overwhelming. We did return here early in the day, but it didn't seem to make that much of a difference. Leave a Comment

At the last minute we decided we would shell out the outrageous ticket prices to see Céline belt out the tunes at Caesar's Palace. I'm not going to tell you it was worth $360 US for two of us to see a 90 minute concert. If Elvis himself rose from the dead to sing a personal concert for me I'd still think that was too much money. But I must admit it was quite a spectacle. She has about 40 dancers accompanying her, as well as a worthy band and a custom-built stage that gives every seat a great view. Personal opinions about Céline aside, (I like her, but she sure is a ham!)... it was a very good show and offered a very entertaining evening. Watching some of the people attending the show was almost as much fun. There are some hard-core Céline fans out there, and they all seem to be lining up to see her show. Photos are strictly forbidden, so here's a picture of the cash I had to shell out to see the show. Leave a Comment Phone: 1-(800) 634-6661Directions: Center Strip between Bellagio and The Mirage

Check out his trident, whoo-hoo! A lot of the malls in the major casinos have ceilings of sky blue with changing clouds projected on them, and they are lit in daylight tones. Gives a pretty nice impression of walking outside. This fountain is a pleasant spot to sit and watch the people go by. Of course, one of the things that always amuses me about Vega$ is the way they attempt to recreate various European and exotic spots with their theme malls. Misses the point entirely, that the people make the places, and you'll mostly just see the same old Americans in Desert Passage, the Forum, the Venetian, Paris Casino, etc. Not quite like people-watching in Beauborg Square! I always hear about how I MUST see the show in the Forum Mall at Caesar's Palace, when the statues come to life. Unfortunately, my timing is always impeccable - they are either malfunctioning, or down for general maintenance. Sigh. Nothing says Vegas better than Caesars Palace. The Romans would be proud of the beautiful rooms, heavenly pools, breathtaking shops, gourmet restaurants, world-class entertainment and one of the hippest nightclubs in town. Also, the Colosseum looks better than it has in centuries. Caesars Palace is a hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. Caesars Palace is owned and operated by Harrah's Entertainment. Caesars is located on the west side of the Strip, between the Bellagio and the Mirage.Caesars has 3,349 rooms[1] in five towers: Augustus, Centurion, Forum, Palace, and Roman. The Forum tower features guest suites with 1,000 square feet of space. Even Caesar would be overwhelmed by the long list of incredible dining options featuring world-renowned chefs. Bradley Ogden's eponymous eclectic restaurant is a James Beard Award winner, the laid-back Bobby Flay cooks up modern Southwest flare in his gorgeous Mesa Grill and the legendary Guy Savoy holds court in the resort's Augustus Tower. That doesn't even include the dining options in the world-famous Forum Shops. Your inner Cleopatra can shop for couture clothing, jewels, beauty products and nearly everything else under the sun before enjoying a sumptuous dinner at fabulous restaurants including Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab, Sushi Roku and The Palm. Caesars Palace's legendary casino always has been the place to be for high rollers, celebrities and everyone with some cash to spare. The nicely appointed rooms have both the classic beauty of past times and the modern technology of today. If you want to be treated like royalty, follow Caesar and Cleopatra to the Roman-style pools and get spoiled by the grape goddesses who hand out frozen grapes in the summer. Casino space is 129,000 square feet. Casino games include Blackjack, Caribbean Stud Poker, Craps, Keno, Let It Ride, Pai Gow Poker, Poker, Roulette, Slots, Baccarat, Wheel of Fortune, Megabucks and Super Megabucks.

Caesar's Palace is for me the most overblown tasteless hotel-casino etc... in Las Vegas. [And I don't want to think what the other is if you prove me wrong:(] . The statues are certainly not from MY art history textbook -- and they are everywhere, both inside and out! . And you gotta see it! Leave a Comment

Imagine a colorful fountain surrounded by music. Suddenly the stone figures give place to living people, and a small theater is performed in the fountain, with lots of special effects. After the climax, the actors are replaced by the statues and the soft music recovers its place. It's american show business. It's Vegas. IT'S FREE in Ceasar's Palace. Caesars Palace/Forum is I found a bit naff, trying to emulate Rome didnt really do it for me. However there are a lot of shops if you like shopping. Also a free show called the 'Fall of Atlantis' which is a water/fountain show where the aquarium holds 50,000 gallons of water. This show is on the hour every hour from 10am-11pm weekdays, its until midnight on Friday and Saturdays. Shops include stores such as Armanu=i, DKNY, Versace and perhaps something more affordable the Disney Store! One thing I have never seen before though and that is a curved escalator (see my pics).
