 | Bangkok RCA clubs Reviews | 1 - 10 of 19 | | This place is a whole street of clubs. The clubs are packed with not much room for dancing. Many people are sitting at tables outside because inside is so packed. Be careful that you dont go in gay clubs accidentally, unless that is your thing. Also, be careful of ladyboys and hookers.
Anything. Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubDirections: I dont remember so take a cab. Thats what I did and it was only a couple of dollars from Silom Rd.

During my second trip to Thailand my ex-girlfriend suggested we go out to this place because it was close to our hotel. The bar was called Route 66 and it seemed to be quite busy both nights we went here. The bar is a split level area with tables and bench seats below and an upper open area where people can look down on the dancefloor and sit around the outside edge. They play mostly techo-house music, and have a bunch of screens all over the bar, which show anything from movie trailers to the people dancing on the floor. They also serve bar food if you feel the need, and it is quite tasty and cheap. We had a fun time coming here at night, as it broke up the site seeing pace set during the day, as well as gave me a different Thai experience. The main reason for this was the fact that out of the whole bar, I would be the only non-local person at times... talk about an eye opening experience.(but it was all good).
The was no dress code that I noticed, everybody whatever they felt was comfortable. Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubDirections: About a 40bht taxi from where we were staying at the Nasa Vegas Complex.

Otherwise known as Royal City Avenue. A complete block of discos with the flashiest lights and the hippest music. Can’t tell you more than that because I arrived on the scene at 9Pm, a little too early I guess for the rest of the party goers for anything to start happening. I had to whip out my ID because the bouncers thought I was Thai and underaged. Thought that was funny... Leave a Comment Theme: Nightclub

Coming here we parked the car in the multistory carpark and went to look for some decent clubs. Route 66 looked to be the best so we made our way here. never been to a Route 66 bar before and it was actually quite decent. The drinks were cheap and the atmosphere was great. The music was hip-hop and there are two different rooms for East Coast and West Coast. We were also allowed to bring in bottles of wine. Had a great night here and spent not much at all and probably the best thing was there were not many Farang "westerners" and mostly Thai students. Leave a Comment Theme: Nightclub

If you want to go where the locals go - this is IT. Those who love R&B must check out Route 66. The club is divided into North, South, East and West areas with the larger areas (East and West) playing R&B music. I was there on a Friday night and it was jam-packed with young people out having a good time. Great R&B/Hip hop music with the music videos being shown on screen too. If you need a break, there are plenty of tables and chairs outside where you can sit down and get a drink. Another club to check out is Club Astra, just a few doors away from Route 66. There are plenty of different events held here weekly - the Friday I was there, it was drum and bass which I LOVE. Cover charge applies here though. A few other places along RCA that were worth checking out but I was quite happy spending the rest of the night at Route 66. Clubs have to close at 1am so don't head out too late! And don't forget to bring your passport for identification. Leave a Comment Theme: Nightclub

Devided in 2 sides. One side is "SLIM" (on your right) playing commercial hip hop/R&B (always packed) Other side is "Flix" playing electronica, House music sometimes features kick-ass bosanova jazzy house as well. Fridays are terrible coz it's really too crowded on SLIM side. But if you like to party with LOT of people this is a place for you. (Always still alright on FLIX side though.. some air to breath) Try to get there early to get a table. Beers cost 140 Baht, RTD drinks 120 Baht. No entry fee.
No flip-flops for guys. Dress Smart for girls. Bring your ID (copy of a passport for foreigners) you must be over 20+ Leave a Comment Theme: DancingDirections: Main RCA road

There is a stretch of clubs in the RCA(Royal City Avenue)district in Bangkok. The crowds mostly Thai teenagers and occasinally some farangs. One of the biggest club is Morgans which is okay I think. Personally, I dont really like it here cos the music is too loud u can have to learn how to read lips b4 u enter. Leave a Comment Theme: Nightclub

I have ever went there for a time. It's colourful and there are many thing to do.Thai teenages prefer to go there more than Wat Prakeo, I think. If you like this come and find something drink after that dance all night long. You can meet new people here : ) Thai call this place RCA or The Royal City Avenue. Theme: TheaterDirections: You can drive to Thanon Phetchaburi Tat Mai or New Phetchaburi Road.

It's not that new but newer than those "coming back" SLIM, ROUTE 66, etc. Astra. Hosts famous local/ internation DJs every now and then. But suggest you to go on "Special dates" there (when they host famous DJ) Which usually costs 500-800 Baht for entry fee (cheaper if you buy in advance) Check their website for an update/DJs Line up
