One of the loveliest places I have ever had morning tea is at the Petersham Nurseries Tea Room, which is located a short walk from the river in Richmond. The nursery itself is a beautiful place, with all varieties of plants for sale, laid out in ramshackle green houses. Just below the calm brown waters of Kelah Fish Santuary in Taman Negara lies hundreds of fish. To the casual observer like me, they look like fish burgers swimming by but to an angler, these buggers are the prized "Kelah" , a much sought-after fish for its fighting prowess! This is a great little city hotel of an Australian chain, with friendly staff, a sufficient pool area & loads of other facilities: I think it's pretty good value for your money as well, and in the last 2 years (since 2006) many fellow VTers have stayed here upon my recommendation & agreed with me.
