  • Four Plus Star Hotel will suit people with even the most ritziest tastes. The hotel is great, deserving of it's rating. I'm told that you will be disappointed by a lot of other upper echelon hotels there. The rooms are nice and spacious. Lots of product in the bathroom, mini bar, marble. The doormen and desk staff is great. Classy bar and dining. It is the perfect location to get to a variety of places by walking or quick cab ride. Or, you can take a cable car outside the hotel. BART is close too.

    Look for deals combined with airfare. You can stay cheaper than if you call and book.

  • The Omni San Francisco is housed in a grand-looking building that used to be a bank in its heyday. It is in the Nob Hill area, right around the cable car line, walking distance to Chinatown, and close to many sights and places of interest.

    The service was EXCELLENT, the accommodation was FABULOUS, and the amenities (on par with other 4* accommodations) were OUTSTANDING. The ambiance was warm and welcoming--not stuffy at all.

    What really pleased me was that they gave us freshly-cooked cookies at night & huge out-of-this-world strawberries dipped in chocolate! :) What more can you ask for? I've never felt so pampered in my life. I highly RECOMMEND the Omni Hotel in SF to anyone looking for a distinctive accommodation in the heart of all the action.

    Warm ambiance, EXCELLENT service, GREAT amenities, & WONDERFUL location.

    Just two nights at the Omni and we got a great rate booked in advance over the internet. We were a bit worried since some reviews were critical. The room we were given was moderate size but in pristine condition. Superb King bed that was very comfortable after a LONG flight. We were jet lagged throughout our time in San Francisco and tried our best to log into West Coast time. The comfort of the Omni helped. We joined their Loyalty scheme before we travelled and that proved to be a good move. Free coffee,juice and paper first thing and subsequently they have sent offers for 2 -4 -1 weekends etc.

    The Omni is new and housed in what seems to be an ex bank. I would say its style is set for the corporate traveller but it does have style. It is on the California Street Tram line. We bought day transport ticket so we could use the trams whenever.
    The staff were pleasant and informative about San Francisco.
    Location and condition of rooms and hotel was excellent
    Recommended, would definitely use it again.
