  • This hotel board was bed and breakfast. Meals available lunch and tea time although these were charged for. This hotel was two star but really it was very good. Staff were very friendly, helpful and curtious to us through out our stay. The reception was setup so that checking in and check out and information were all done seprately and this really sped up this process. This is the cheapest of the hotels. The food particularly for the kids wasnt really that varied without a veg insight for the childrens menu. Apart from that the hotel was good.

    There was a childrens corner at reception with entertainment and childrens playground. It was themed around a mexican theme although there is a ufo (not quite sure what that is all about but anyway). There is a disney shop on site and a photo corner. Rooms were for upto four people but there where rooms with connecting doors and rooms are available for those in wheelchairs or with mobility problems although you must state that you need this type of room when booking.

  • When we arrived I thought it looked pretty cool. The one thing I didn't like was that we had to go a great distance to get to our building and then take a lift once to get to our room.

    The rooms were average, bit cramped though.

    The breakfast I must admit was terrible, poor quality selction of cereal and cakes/pasteries.

    All in all I did not enjoy my stay here.

    But if you are looking for a low cost budget hotel this is the one for you.

    I have stayed in Santa Fe, Cheyenne & Sequoia Lodge and would have to say that the Santa Fe just edges it for me as being the best of the three. The location is slightly worse, and most will want to make use of the hotel's free shuttle service to get to the parks.

    I think where the Santa Fe edges out it's competition is that although it is classified as a 'themed' hotel, it doesn't get embroiled in that mindset, and seems to cater more for comfort and quality rather than novelty. The hotel does of course have a general Mexican theme, and this is reflected in the hotel's resteraunts and bars. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the service we received there was second to none.

    As you enter the hotel complex you are greeted by a huge billboard of Clint Eastwood's 'Man with no name' character from the old Mexican themed Spaghetti Western films. This was a nice touch, espescially with me being a big fan of the films, and it is a pretty impressive bit of artistry.

  • Upon arrival and waiting in the reception line for over 30 minutes we were told our nonsmoking room would not be available til 3pm....or we could have a smoking room immediately. The rooms were clean, but the mattresses and pillows need replacing. There were no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. We were told we had to be at breakfast by 7:30. The breakfast was childrens cereal, croissants and bread rolls (the continental bit must have been the sliced cold ham and cheese squares).As one of the staff members said "it is the worst place to work in Disney". A buffet dinner could be had for 20 Euros each. The resort? was close to the Disneyland and the resort bus was always there when we needed it. The access we had to Disneyland after hours was fantastic.

  • Far west village.
    It is the less expensive hotel of the Disney village, but the rooms are just for sleeping. Going to DisneyLand is just to be on the site and not enjoy the rooms, which give what you want: a place to sleep, bath and keep your suitcase.

    The restaurant serves American food, very disgusting, fat and unhealthy. It is advisable to have dinner outside.

  • Stayed at the Santa Fe for three nights in September 05.

    At the 'budget' end of the Disney Hotel range, the Santa Fe isn't a luxurious choice. However, if you want the Disney experience without the hefty price tag its everything you need. The rooms are of a good size with bath and shower in a surprisingly spacious bathroom. Our room was very clean with comfortable beds (2 doubles), a TV, phone etc.

    Included in the price of your stay is breakfast - a continental buffet where you can pick up juice, tea, coffee etc. also. The breakfast room also serves lunch and dinner, but its quite expensive. We actually found a meal in the Rainforest Cafe in the Disney Village cheaper! But if you have small kids then eating on site is a good option, and the food was varied and edible!

    It took us around 15mins to walk to the parks through the other hotels/by the river. The shuttle bus also takes you straight there if you have little legs tired out after a long day with Mickey!

    I'd definetly recommend the Santa Fe for good value!
